Pushes harder and takes control.
Looks like drive, intensity and a short fuse when things get tight. Rarely asks for help, because help feels like losing.
Founder, Quantum Buddha / Edinburgh
I'm Virr-Krishan Haria. I help high achievers spot the stress response steering their decisions, so they can stop performing it and build a life that doesn't depend on it.
Ten years of workshops and practice, a Computer Science degree, and a habit of building the tools I wish I'd had.
You are free
Strength without the armour.
Under pressure, most people fall back on the same response. It starts as protection and slowly becomes personality. The free Stress Pattern Test shows you which one is yours in about ten minutes.
Looks like drive, intensity and a short fuse when things get tight. Rarely asks for help, because help feels like losing.
Looks like perfectionism, overwork and always being on the way to somewhere else. Rest feels unsafe, so it never quite arrives.
Looks like overthinking, going blank and delaying the big decision. Plenty of insight, very little movement.
Looks like saying yes too fast and reading the room before reading yourself. Everyone is looked after except the person doing it.
Each piece does one job: help you see your pattern, then give you a way to work with it.
Fight, Flight, Freeze and Fawn, drawn from a decade of workshops and one-to-one work. It gives people plain language for something they have felt for years and never named.
About ten minutes to find out which response you default to under pressure. The starting point for everything else I do.
A personalised report built around your pattern, with a clear next step for the way you already operate.
A webcam experience that lays a holographic mask over your face, cracks it open and shatters it. Face and hand tracking run entirely in the browser. The mask above is a small taste of it.
Controlling a computer with nothing but your hands and a webcam. Early steps towards the kind of interfaces I have wanted to build since I was a student.
Long-form pieces on stress, identity and what it costs to perform normal. Recent: "Neurotypical is the Mask".
Solarpunk imagines a world where technology, community and nature work together. It means clean energy, rewilded land, circular economies and cities that feel like gardens. Most stories about what comes next are warnings. I'd like to help write one that is a destination.
Click the ground to plant a tree / 5 growing
Solar, repair and local resilience over extraction. Tools that leave the ground richer than they found it.
Gardens, workshops and skills passed hand to hand. Wellbeing treated as shared infrastructure.
Not naive, because it comes with plans. The same belief sits under my work: people can put the mask down.
Clean energy that homes and neighbourhoods generate and own themselves, instead of waiting on someone else's grid.
Regenerative farming, green roofs and wild corridors through cities, so wildlife has a place to live alongside us.
Repair, reuse and closed-loop materials. Buying less, keeping things longer and making what we do need to last.
A story world I'm building with a friend. It is set in 2626, after evolved trees and animals have taken over and humans live as pets or strays. Solarpunk is where the story is headed, and I'm shaping it to work as a book, a game or a film.
I studied Computer Science in Manchester. My final year project was a gesture-controlled 3D sculpting tool that read depth with a Kinect and drew in stereoscopic red and blue.
After that I spent ten years in workshops, professional support and spiritual exploration, trying to understand the other kind of brain. I have lived across London, Manchester, Southeast Asia, Australia and Canada, and I'm now based in Edinburgh.
Quantum Buddha is where those two threads meet. I build with the same tools I teach with: Three.js for the visuals, and webcam tracking in the full Drop the Mask experience.
